A fascinating novel based on the real life romance and marriage of Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, which was explosive, crazy, passionate, and cruel, while also at times being very loving and caring.

The time period is like a character in the book, as well as the many locations.

I loved all of the famous writers, artists and authors who show up on their journey.

At the core of the story though is Zelda… defiant, intelligent, and ambitious. You find yourself cheering for her, crying for her, and trying to understand her throughout.

A well done novel in the genre of historical fiction, especially if you are a fan of the roaring 20’s, Fitzgerald’s writing or feisty women!
