Great family drama book about the ripple affects of secrets on an Irish American family. I like how there were multiple point of view characters so you got to see how the secrets affected almost everyone in the family. I also particularly liked the setting in Westchester County, New York, where I’m originally from. Seeing so many places named that I’m familiar with was a treat. I think anyone with a close knit, but dysfunctional family will resonate with the Brennans. And cheer them on even when they are sometimes their own worst enemy!
