Loved this third book in the series. I think I liked it better than the second actually. It had a sense of urgency: the violence of the Camorra and the Communist Party, Lenu’s marriage, becoming a mother, her strained relationship with Lila, her continued love for Nino, the push-pull love-hate feeling toward her old neighborhood, the abandonment and then rekindling of her writing. So much at stake. Can’t wait to see what happens in the fourth and final book!
