Really enjoyed this book! It’s told from the perspective of a daughter in present day trying to figure out what led to her mother’s death, and the mother in the past when she comes over to America from Korea. I really enjoyed so many aspects of this novel, which mostly focus on the mother-daughter relationship and the experience of being an immigrant in America. A deeply emotional story that will resonate with those that enjoy multicultural and family saga.
