Great book! I listened to it on audiobook and the narration was fabulous. I have a feeling it really helped to bring the characters alive. This book is so interesting because it’s many things combined into one. It’s a coming-of-age story about a woman in her mid-20s figuring out life, career, and relationships. It’s also a commentary on race, class, and privilege. The author tells the story in such a fast-paced easy manner that it helps the book not feel heavy. But it does deal with some weighty issues and makes you think for sure. There are also some twists that I didn’t see coming that I’m still thinking about! Definitely recommend this one.
