This book was so good! Historical fiction set in the 1960s about a young housewife disillusioned with her sexist husband and her lack of choices who learns how to be bold and builds a community of strong women around her. So many things I loved about this story. The setting in the Hudson River Valley of NY, where I lived for a decade. The theme of a woman empowering herself and other women around her.
Oh and, of course, wine! If you love women’s fiction and historical fiction highlighting women helping themselves and other women, give this one a read.
