I adored this book. It features two main characters, Cleo and Mac, and tells the story from their alternating points of view. Each of them heads to Salvation Island in Ireland to escape their life for different reasons, and wind up not only finding each other, but themselves. With a cast of quirky island characters, absolutely beautiful writing, and a well-developed love story, this reads with a lot more depth than cliché. Highly recommend! This is my third book by this author (I’ve already read One Day in December and The Two Lives of Lydia Bird) and I’ve loved all of them!
