Wow, this book was so good!! I have a book hangover. It’s really a love story between two sisters. It’s also a nod to feminism from the 1950s until present day and how we really haven’t gotten to where we should be yet as women. It is a family drama at its best. It spans generations and follows two sisters throughout their lives, alternating points of view between the two of them. The characters are so well developed — complex, strong, flawed, and vulnerable. And the subject matter covers pretty much everything. Hence, the title. Loved it!
