Loved this book! I listened to it on audio and thought the narrators did a great job. There were two different narrators for the two sisters, Meg and Jo. Yes, it is an imaginative modern-day retelling of Little Women. But I like to think of it more as inspired by that book, than a retelling of it. I think if you go in with that mindset, you can thoroughly enjoy it. It has deep character development. I really cared about these characters and felt immersed in their worlds. Both of the protagonists are trying to figure out who they are within their family, individually, within their romantic relationships, and their careers. The pacing was great, and there was a nice mix of humor and emotion. I had that very satisfied feeling when I finished it, almost a little sad that it was over.
