Loved this book! It follows the Riva family over the span of two generations as the parents and their four children struggle with fame and real life. The patriarch of the family is a famous singer who abandoned his family. His adult daughter struggles with her own fame, collapsing marriage, and the burden of having raised her four siblings. I loved the sense of place in Southern California, the family drama, and the complex relationships. I realize that Taylor Jenkins Reid is now one of my go-to authors! Basically anything that she writes, I will read … and love.
