This book is freakin’ awesome! What a wild ride. So fast-paced. Never wanted to stop reading it! It’s hard to explain but think of it almost as black humor. It is wickedly funny, and it’s a bit of a mystery also. The main character, Finlay, is a newly divorced single mom who is a hot mess. And yet so lovable. She winds up getting mixed up in some shady business without intending to, and the ensuing chaos is both hysterical and riveting. Unintended murder, anyone? All the characters are really well developed and serve a purposeful role. I particularly liked her sidekick nanny, Vero! The sequel is already out, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it and see what mess Finlay gets herself into next.
