Really enjoyed this book! It’s a great combination of a woman figuring out who she is after a tough time, a budding romance, and some fun baseball thrown in. I loved the setting in Maine and the characters felt very authentic and complex.

But what really drew me in was the dialogue. The banter was awesome! You feel like you’re sitting in a room with these characters listening to them have real-life conversations. I couldn’t get over how snappy the dialogue was and how true to each character. It made the pacing in the book fly by.

Don’t expect a sweeping comprehensive story. This is a tight story about one woman’s world and it is well done. Some people have called this a romantic comedy and I can see why. But to me it feels like a drama with some comic relief thrown in for good measure.
