Such a great book! So fascinating to learn of the female pilots that flew for Russia in World War II. I loved learning about their sacrifices, friendships, the skills they acquired, and the atrocities that they saw and suffered. This is historical fiction at its finest, where there is a strong plot, character development, and storyline, while you are also immersed in history, learning something new and very eye-opening. Well done! I shed some tears, and rooted for these heroic and brave ladies.
