Really hard to review this book without giving a spoiler so I’ll be careful!
Although it is fast paced reading and the writing is fabulous, I found myself being a little frustrated for the first portion of the book. Then a turning point came and I was more drawn in but still felt unsettled and frustrated.
Now that I’ve read the entire book, I understand why I felt that way. There’s a plot twist/surprise that takes your breath away. I felt like I understood the book more and my reaction to it after that twist.
Overall, I found the book heartbreaking, beautiful, raw, frustrating and haunting. Well done.
