So grateful for this beautiful blurb about my debut novel, Everything We Thought Was True, from the gifted author, Jennifer Klepper.
I’ve known Jennifer for about 8 years—since I first joined WFWA in 2017. We are both attorneys who became novelists. I knew she was published by a quality small press, and I had my eyes on it. It’s fascinating, but I always had a feeling that Red Adept Publishing would publish my novel from the first time I found out about them. Partly because I admire the books they publish and the authors who write them. And Jennifer is one of them. Love sharing a publisher with her!
Here’s what she shared about my debut:
“Lisa Montanaro’s carefully drawn characters are our neighbors—they are us—and they demonstrate a path to face and overcome the types of challenges that threaten to tear us apart. Refreshingly empathetic and self-reflective, Everything We Thought Was True is a novel of family and forgiveness perfect for our time.” ~ Jennifer Klepper, USA Today bestselling author of Unbroken Threads and The Last Road Trip
