You know that phrase, some things are meant to be? It’s often overused, for sure. But sometimes it truly fits. Like with my debut novel. There have been so many signs that this book was meant to be. They seem to be stacking up.
I got my publishing deal on my birthday last year, was assigned my content editor on my mom’s birthday last year, was assigned my copy editor on my husband’s birthday this year, and my publishing team finalized the book cover on my friend/matron of honor’s birthday last month. So cool how every milestone matches a birthday.
Official Pub Date is January 27, 2025
Sticking with the theme of milestones and signs from the universe, I now have an official publication date – January 27, 2025. I love that I’m launching the day before my actual birthday (January 28), and on the two-year anniversary of when Red Adept Publishing first called to give me a book deal. So I’ll be birthing a book this upcoming January. Woot!!

Soon, I’ll be able to share the cover for EVERYTHING WE THOUGHT WAS TRUE. Stay tuned! The team at Red Adept Publishing did a fantastic job of capturing the story and translating it into graphic / visual / artistic form.
The next few months are going to be filled with lots of firsts that I’ve been dreaming of for years. My new author photos are done (I love them and am so grateful that I have a close friend who is a talented photographer — PJ Thompson Photography rocks!), and blurbs/early reviews are coming in from authors I admire (pinch me!).
I’m going to savor each milestone along the way, and appreciate you being a part of my debut novelist journey. I appreciate those of you asking when you can order the book. There will be a pre-order link ready soon, and I will share it here, there, and wherever.
